Guest guest
I was asking about direction for the siblings that DO NOT NEED to be on the diet but who will be doing the diet because I am not talented enough to cook multiple menus. > > HI, I don't have time to cook multiple meals, and I hate getting gluten on my pans and plates. Dinner usually means my plate full of vegetables, salad sometimes and a small portion of meat and the family's (DS18, DD5) with meat, small amount of vegetables and their non-SCD starch: potato, brown rice, barley, refried beans, or couscous (has gluten I know, but DD5 loves it). I use gluten free pasta, pizza crust mix and chocolate cake mixes for the kids. I top their pasta and pizza with my SCD legal tomato juice sauce and cheeses. I buy SCD legal cheeses, juices, meats, and vegetables. With just a few extra ingredients they feel included and respected and I get very little gluten in my kitchen. If my son has to have snacky stuff, it is in packages and he keeps it in his room. He likes Cheetos and Cheezits. I keep DD5's Tofuttis on hand for her and she is happy. Hopes this helps a little.
