Guest guest
If Abby is growing at a good catch-up rate, then the dose should remain the same. It is usually increased if the growth velocity falls off or if the child gains a good amount of weight. It's great that Abby is doing so well on the dose that she is taking right now. My guess would be that at the next visit, the doctor will increase the dose. Jodi Z
Guest guest
Sherri - I'm not well versed with GH yet - but, wanted to congratulate Abby on her growth! I'm sure that makes you very happy. Guest guest
Thanks, Jodi. It's so tough trying to balance what the " right " thing is. Since our doctor doesn't seem to know anything about RSS I rely heavily on this listserv for all the information I can get. As long as there is no reason I need to put pressure on the doctor to change the prescription, I'm thrilled with leaving it as is and with Abby's growth progress. Guest guest
Thanks, yes, I'm thrilled with Abby's growth. It was so hard to make the decision to do GH, but now that we're going down that road I love to plot Abby's progress and watching her move up and over the curve she was on!
