Guest guest
Oh my Tex. If that is your Hgb and Hct you need a blood transfusion fast. Are you in the hospital right now? I'm not sure of sed rate. Vitamin D levels should be over 30 at least and its better if its around 60-70. This is more than just smoking. Guest guest
Yes, I went in just over a week ago (I think) and had three pints of blood and two iron transfusions. They pretty much took me off every medicine while I was in there. I had my first follow-up appointment with the regular doctor and these results are pre-hospital. They said 8 hemoglobin and ferritin is in the normal range when I left. I'm supposed to find a hematologist to schedule transfusions and they are going to check the blood more often. Thanks ;-). She blames most everything on smoking and I agree I need to quit but haven't yet. Darn stress... Oh my Tex.If that is your Hgb and Hct you need a blood transfusion fast.
