My daughter and I are on Stage 3 right now. She also gets constipated from time to time. Does it mean that I can go ahead to other stages? This is the reason Elaine was concerned about people rigidly following " the stages. " If you have a core group of lower-stage foods which you know are tolerated, then I would go ahead and introduce other foods you may like from higher stages, but do it carefully, one at a time, with, perhaps, more space between introductions, and watch for reactions, being prepared to drop back to those foods you know are tolerated if there is a reaction.
