Guest guest
Hey all, This is going to be a quick post since I am on my way to bed.... Dalia had her second pelvic ultrasound this week to check her kidneys in the process of getting ready for GH. First they confirmed that her left kidney is a pelvic kidney and that it is not really any big deal (just no contact sports - oh well, no football). But, then they saw something in the area that her kidney should be and thought perhaps it was her intestines or stomach filling in the open area. The endo called today to say that they want to do a CT scan to take a further look since the ultrasound was not conclusive. He said it could be her stomach or maybe even a benign tumor (these were just a couple of examples he mentioned). He did say not to worry too much, but that is like telling me not to breathe too much - kwim?? I am just so worried about her and can't stop thinking about what might be wrong. Does anyone else have experience with this and have any positive thoughts?? Thanks, Sheryl (Dalia, 23 months, 19 lbs 9 oz, 31 in, RSS and Hanna, 3 months, non-RSS) btw, Dalia started walking full time last week!! - YAY
