Guest guest
Yep, cold and rainy in Alabama, too! So, I did cook something warm and wonderful. Home made shrimp creole! Ahhhhhh...warm and spicy! And if I leave off the rice it's not bad on the carbs either. Reba > It's cold and snowing here! It makes me want to cook something hot and > soothing. The steak and spinach salad I had for lunch didn't do it. > Cold, dark, snowy days suck too! > Tigger

Guest guest
Rainy and dreary days SUCK! ===================================== Especially when you're trapped in a house with a 7 year old who may be coming down with something and is whining and " bored " . All day long I offered to play something with her or bake cookies. No, no, no says she, until 3:30 this afternoon when she decided that she would like to bake cookies. So started that and have to tell you was so happy when at 5:30 the freaking cookie gun finally died. Was never so happy to throw anything out in my life. LOL Been on a hell of a binge the past few weeks with chocolate. My God I'm so sorry I ever " tried " a piece. Have had chocolate everyday for weeks. Feeling bloated, fat and just disgusted. Merry Ho-Ho. Yuck. Can you tell I'm very cranky today? Now I get to watch the Princess Diaries for the 900th time. What I wouldn't give for a good slasher movie right now. Two hours and 11 minutes and she's in bed. Whoopeee!!! Starting protein shakes tomorrow. Fay you're going to be hearing from me. Thanks Regina

Guest guest
That's OK. You're already a success. Look how long you went. It ups the blood sugar and then it drops pretty fast. There is nothing wrong with popcorn occasionally but for some of us it is easily addictable. I am fortunate that I go through phases of wanting popcorn. The last time I bought a 6 pack of microwaveable popcorn, it took me 6 months to finish them (about one a month). Chocolate on the other hand very rarely last more then a day at my house.
