Guest guest
Her Doctor said she could sleep flat and she feels better today. Her swelling is almost all gone now. Thank you for your reply. Anita Re: how long do you sleep propped up? I think it was a couple of weeks before I was able to sleep flat. One of the things I found that was nice was a bedpillow with arms. I used that with some small cushions to support the lower back. I did slip down out of that one night, though, and had a pretty sore face the next morning. I think it's the existence of soreness in the face and the increased swelling in the morning that would determine whether or not it's time to sleep flat again. Is she getting up and around, walking, getting out now? Sleeping and watching tv all day and night could be the cause too. > My DD's swelling has gone down considerably but today she has a > horrific back ache. Should I mention the back ache to her surgeon? > > Anita > >
