Guest guest
Hi Deb, I was just reading some of the RSS list's posts and saw yours about Adam and the testosterone. Go for it girl! You and Adam will never regret it. Matt was always glad he did. It is for such a short period of time, and the changes you see will be all for the good, and if Adam is like Matt, his self-esteem will soar! Matt had no ill effects at all. It will put Adam on a more even keel with the other guys. Even though I was like you, very, very reticent to go ahead, I am so glad that we did - and so is Matt. He has a friend in youth group at church who is short and is being made fun of all the time at school (not at youth group) so his mother told me on the weekend. Matt is now heading over the 5'3 " mark and said he has never been made fun of in high school at all! We are really glad we did the testosterone before high school. It gave him a jump start on puberty. He is now into puberty " on his own " so the ped endo says. And he is still growing on the GH! Just an encouragement for you both! If we hit the 5'6 " mark before we're " done " , I will be in heaven! Less than 3 more inches to go! Got to go to bed. Bye! Gail P.
