I am loosing a lot of weight and worried about my nutrient content and want to add back my pre flare green beans and broc but know my stomach won't react well. Am I supposed to wait until no d? I have only eating meats yogurt and banana for about 3 weeks now. Yes, you should start adding some vegetables and some fruits back in. You definitely don't wait until you have no more diarrhea! Some people choose to add well-cooked carrots; I didn't do well with those. I did really well with peeled steamed zucchini, then green beans, then chopped spinach. Then I added broccoli. That way I can increase my nutrient content. I would add things gradually anyway, and try to stay, initially, with foods that are generally considered to be easier to digest. That way you can give your system a better chance to heal. One thing to keep in mind -- balance over time. We don't HAVE to have a balanced meal daily or even weekly, but over time. I'll dig up and repost an article I wrote on that. — Marilyn New Orleans, Louisiana, USA Undiagnosed IBS since 1976, SCD since 2001 Darn Good SCD Cook No Human Children Shadow & Sunny Longhair Dachshund Babette the Foundling Beagle
