second regression?

I will try to be brief because it is a long story: My son's head

regressed once and I am concerned it is regressing yet again. He is

older (16 months) and everyone tells me regression now is very

unlikely, especially given his slower growth, thicker bone density,

etc. He graduated from his second helmet a few weeks ago (right

plagio - final numbers were 4 mm off). I am going

back to CT to have them assess, but am fairly certain I see

regression. Is there anyone out there who has experienced TWO

regressions? What was the cause? At this point, I am worried it is

something rare and serious. For my son, the first helmet was

required due to tort issues, the second one we reasoned MIGHT be due

to unresolved tort *though very minor). Tort is resolved - or so I

think (neck is soft, turns head well, no tilt). He moves around a

lot at night, so I don't think it is a positioning issue. I don't

think it's craniosyntosis as my son has no physical signs of it, x-

rays were normal, and how would a helmet work (twice) if his head

fused prematurely? The chances of regression are supposedly 1 in 100

so for it to happen twice, by my calculations, it would be 1 in

10,000! Something is just not right - is there anyone out there who

has seen or heard of two regressions? Any help is appreciated.
