Speaking of breasts...

OK ladies, speaking of breasts, how would you describe your post-op

ta-ta's? We've heard from the champagne flute and glass fillers-or

those wishing they could fill, the handful and mouthful...hmmm..the

best description I heard from a postie who had reduced to almost

nothing " the girls went south and forgot to leave a forwarding

address " . Love that one!! In my case, sigh, I've got the wine glass

filled but am in dire need of having them face forward where nature

intended and not looking at the shoes!

Well, pre-WLS, I was a 44 D. I have been a 38 B for almost 20 years. Very

good shape. I STILL hate wearing bras, and I don't need one. I still pass

the " pencil test " at almost 48.But, from hauling feed/hay/etc. for over 20

years, my pecs are in very good shape. My hubby is a very happy camper. LOL.

No surgery. I'm very lucky.

Our support group has been known to call those " rock in a sock " .

I seem to have gone right back to my nice full 36C of high school days

despite being down 185 pounds and having breastfed for 25 months. Go

figure. I like 'em, and I don't think more than a handful's a waste --

or maybe you just need bigger hands. ;-)

Okay . . . . . my post-op ta-ta's are like a rose . . . . . . that has been

left way to long in a vase. Bloomed out full, the head bent over until it

touches the stem pointing straight towards the floor, it's lost its color

and shape and every now again a petal goes astray. LOL

Or . . . . . they are like a popsicle that got left on the counter to melt

into a big puddle of water that gathers whatever direction gravity pulls it.

or . . . well you get the jist of it hehehe

But in a bra with reinforced duct tape, making double sure that the ends at

least point in the same general direction, they look like ta-ta's.

Joanie

Pre-op 48D or DD or whatever I could find that would fit

My pre-op ta ta's weren't real lookers, as they were large and facing south.

Now, it's like carrying around 5 pounds of sand in a 10 pound bag- and still

facing south. With regards to plastics in general, all I keep hearing is

" you're young! Your skin should bounce back! " Yeah folks, and we should have

world peace, too. It just ain't happenin'. I so desperately want plastics, but

I wonder how much longer I should wait.

Hm.

Joanie, you're so poetic!

Never having been perky, even when young, mine just went further and

further south with the yo-yo-ing and DD++ weight, never even given a

chance to look straight ahead. Well, they do now! Amazing how,

between the weight loss, and the new boobies, I stand taller, look

people dead in the eye & smile. This self-confidence thing is

addictive.

Hmmmmm, how do I describe mine???? Well, they are tiny, they hang kinda

low---BUT they are still pointing forward and not south---so that's a good

thing! Sometimes, depending on what I am wearing, I look like I am flat

chested---other times--depending on the bra, I look pretty darn good. But,

when I hang naturally, they look deflated, especially at the top. And they

are covered with stretch marks. Even when I was at my biggest, I was still

relatively small, compared to other women who were the same body size/weight

as me. The largest cup size I wore was a DD---now I am easily in an A or a

B---which is strange cause I was a C in high school--even when I was smaller

than I am now. Oh well, at least I can go to 's Secret now and get

some good push ups---I wanted them before but they didn't have anything

larger than a 38 or possibly a 40---when you are a 48-50, that doesn't do

you much good! I never thought I'd ever be wearing a 32 A or B again---even

though it's small, it's still SO cool, LOL!

Welllllokay I will jump in here.

Ditto on the tube socks-with-rocks image, although pebbles might be more

accurate.

Ladies who want confirmation can email me for the link to my surgeon's

website. I'm his breast lift poster child. Also his arm lift model, come to

think

of it. I think I need to get a rebate for all that modeling, don't you????

A PS told us at a meeting one time " your skin is like a spring once it is

stretched it will come back a small amount but NEVER back to its original

shape "

Y'all ever seen South Park? The kids had a teacher last year whose breasts hung

so low that they hung out of the bottom of her blouse. She had kittens chasing

her around playing with them like balls of yarn!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The first time we

saw this DH said " look honey - it's you! " Now we just laugh our butts off.

Well, I'm 37 and I've had 5 kids---so my body had taken a pretty big

beating. As for the push-ups, they may work like fold ups for me as well,

but I'm still gonna give it a try, anything to give the girls a lift since I

know I won't be able to get any plastic surgery. Wish me luck, anyway,

LOL!!!
