Guest guest
Hi , It can happen. My massage therapist told me that I could expect change, but also not to do anything for some months following surgery. My eye doc didn't agree, but I knew something had changed too. I got a new prescription about 3 months post-op, but ended up changing it again later. You could still be experiencing short-term change, though, related to the initial recovery period (swelling, effects of anaesthesia). I couldn't focus on much post-op, everything was a bit out of focus. At any rate, my advice right now would be to be a bit more patient, unless it's a dramatic change, in which case, you should probably go have your eyes checked. Hope that helps, > Dear Group > > My name is and I underwent maxillary expansion surgery 10 days > ago. I noticed two days post-op that my eyesight seemed to have > changed in my right eye. Guest guest
, I should also mention that I was almost 47 when I had my surgery (3 years ago), and my eyes were already starting their mid- life change. I had been wearing glasses for a few years prior to that. > > Dear Group > > > > My name is and I underwent maxillary expansion surgery 10 > days > > ago. Guest guest
Hi I am 3and 1/2 wks out had upper and lower jaw surgery! My eyesight was affected and I found it was due to the medicine. The pain meds that is I think after you stop the meds and your swelling goes down you WILL see a difference as I have. Hang in there it slowly gets better and you will look great!
