Guest guest
H2OMG! You are on a roll, a bagel, and a croissant! WOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOO! BRAVA! Okay now you're going to have to explain the periodic table to me. It will make so much more sense (for me, not you!) over a few cosmo's. Guest guest
okay now you're going to have to explain the periodic table to me. ======================================================= Periodic table - the few times a year that I get to go out and have fun with my friends around the table for dinner and a few cocktails. There is no talk of idiotic children, idiotic pets, idiotic bosses, or idiotic husbands. We have fun and in general find from time to time there is life after all the " otics " in our lives. Since its only a few times a year, hence the name Periodic Table. That's what I learned and I'm sticking to it. : ) Regina
Guest guest
Now if THIS had been the periodic table they would have attempted to teach me in HS, I would have passed Chemistry! I nominate Regina for the Nobel Prize in Science! Guest guest
Chemistry??!!! yuck! spatooey! spit..hiss...no no no...NOT chemistry! A 94?? What are ya...some kind of brainiac?? Congratulations, Regina. I remember the days I would try to keep from falling asleep in Chem class, but it was a necessary evil I had to pass for college. In my days of all A's...it was my only C. Guest guest
Chemistry was my only C too - As in microbiology, anatomy and physiology - all the tough courses. And to be honest, the only thing I learned in chemistry that is of any use is why jello wiggles - and that only has trivia value. So Regina honey, ya did good!!!!! Guest guest
Glad to hear it Regina. I was beginning to worry about you and the kids being sick. Hard this time of year but esp. when you are trying to study. Congrats. Guest guest
Oh, me too! I hated science, so for the 2 course requirements in college, I took Astronomy & Geology. They turned out to be the most fascinating and fun classes of all! And, yes, there is life on other planets! ) in NJ ************************** > Chemistry??!!! yuck! spatooey! spit..hiss...no no no...NOT > chemistry! A 94?? Guest guest
So why does Jell-o wiggle? =================================== That was not covered in my chemistry class. However, I can tell you all about 1st, 2nd and 3rd degree burns due to these " rocket scientists " using the bunsen burners. My contribution to the class was a prescription for Silverdine for burns. I was the most popular person in lab class. When I asked one of the doctors that I worked for for the scrip he just cracked up. Thanks for all the congrats. I'm pretty happy considering the last few weeks were hell. Next semester I will be taking my math elective and Death Ed (no kidding) then medical microbiology in the first summer session. Five weeks of hell, but it will be over with. : ) Regina
