It's definitely a bit scary!

I have a question for you..

I read that you can open your mouth 2 fingers wide. Is that 2 fingers

side-by-side, or one on top of the other? I can only get 1 finger in

my mouth..it's been the same since Friday..and I'm scared because I

haven't made any progress since then. I'd be so very happy if I could

get 2 in (one on top of the other)!

Hi Ash,

I can fit in one on top of the other, but I have always been able to open my

mouth pretty

wide. Before surgery I was way more than 3, maybe even 4 fingers. I haven't

had any

progess either though. I have been at two fingers since I checked, probably

about a week

after surgery. Now I realize that compared to almost everyone that is huge.

But it hasn't

changed so I am slightly concerned. I am going through periods of being more or

less

swollen day to day. Some days are awesome, some I'm a huge puffball. I'm

telling myself

that everything is still healing and that it should get better slowly...
