Hi Sara,

I hope that whole situation has been resolved by now... Thank you for

asking how I am doing. I'm doing pretty well. I have had a concern

about my bite being canted, but my ortho is working on it with me and

it is looking like we'll be able to resolve it. He said it is pretty

minor. I was getting so anxious about it that I called and he saw me

a week early (last week) and made some adjustments and is seeing me

this week too to check on my progress. I would prefer to see him more

often to have my case monitored more closely. I HATE waiting a month

for more adjustments! :) Anyway, so far it's going pretty well. My

numbness is very SLOWLY subsiding... In my opinion, I won't be at the

end of my orthognathic journey until my braces are OFF and that won't

be any time soon. Before that can happen, I want my teeth to be as

perfect as possible! I've had braces twice now and three times is NOT

the charm!

I know you posted an update recently and I was glad to read that

everything is progressing along smoothly for you. :) Have you enjoyed

a steak yet? I remember when you first joined that you were worried

about how soon after surgery you'd be able to have a steak again! :)

I haven't had one yet just because I can't afford one! It doesn't

help that the only steak I like are filets. Oh well! Maybe for my

next birthday which will almost coincide with my one year surgery

anniversary I will get to have one. Wouldn't it be nice if the braces

were off by then too?!?

How about you? Will your jaw surgery journey be ending soon?? How

much longer do you have with the braces? Keep in touch!

Katja :)
