Guest guest
My blood levels of all iron-related items have come up so well using Chromagen Forte since June that most of them are HIGH now. My ND told me to stop taking the iron, and I did, a week ago. (I am supposed to take it the week of my period, so I will be getting SOME iron, don't worry, and the plan is to retest everything in March using this system). Well, this is TMI, but I offer it as anecdotal information. Since I stopped taking the Chromagen, I have become INCREDIBLY constipated. I'm not talking about kinda or maybe backed up, I'm talking about desperate, painful, no-fun-gain-5-pounds constipated. I'm doing all the usual stuff, and I'm sure I'll eventually have relief (or you'll see it on Google News, there'll be an article like " Bellevue, WA, woman dies; full of sh!t " -- LOL) but I find it very interesting to consider that perhaps my iron supplement was HELPING me in this department. I haven't changed anything else, diet, protein drinks, water, etc. that I can think of. I was planning to add an extra calcium dose in the iron's old time-slot, but I haven't done it yet so I can't even blame it on that. Oh well.
