Guest guest
Hello mini-rascal and Caboose, I'm so glad to hear that both of you are getting back to the normal routine of everyday life, albeit from the sounds of it, a hectic and tiring routine! Sitting here in Italy I have been following closely the sad events in New Orleans and now the oncoming Rita storm. It just seems so surreal and most of all, unfair. My heart goes out to all the people that have been affected by the storms. It certainly makes me realize that I need to quit complaining when I worry about there being too much rain here in Italy. It has been a very cold and rainy september in Tuscany and my fiance' is very worried that the harvest will suffer from it. as a result he's had to anticipate the harvesting by a whole 2 weeks so yesterday i decided to pitch in and do some of the grape harvesting as well. quite a refreshing experience and it really made me appreciate the basic good things in life - good health, good earth, good food, good wine and being surrounded by the people you love. My jaw is healing very nicely and I count my blessings every day because it seems like I really had an easy recovery. I worry sometimes that something will eventually go wrong but try to keep my feet firmly planted on planet earth and not paranoia planet. I'm still wearing an elastic on each side of my mouth to help retrain my muscles and i think that has really helped keep to a minimum any muscle pain i could possibly get. in two weeks time i go back to my ortho to get my bottom brackets off and then in november hopefully my top brackets which means...no more braces! Fingers crossed but I'm determined not to put my hopes up too much. I got this far and certainly a couple more months of braces won't kill me. There, i've gone rambling about myself when I really meant to send both of you a big virtual hug. Sara xx > > > > > Hi All, > > > > > > > > > > My bottom hooks have finally been taken off by my OD.
