Looking for the right surgeons to consult with -- please help!

Hi,

I have an underbite and strong jaw coupled with a weak chin. My jaw

and teeth are not properly aligned. My teeth potrude too much past my

jaw pushing my lips forward and my whole jaw potrudes too much from my

face. I'm guessing I need some sort of oral surgery to move my jaw

back and properly align my teeth with it. I met with a cosmetic

surgeon and an oral surgeon a couple years back and both recognized

the problem but didn't seem to know how to help me. Should I consult

with a maxillofacial surgeon or an oral surgeon and if so who are some

recommended ones? I live in the Boston area but I'd be willing to

commute to NY if need be.

I've asked for recommendations on several other boards but

unfortunately nobody has been able to help me. I hope I've found the

right place!
