Guest guest
Kim, I have taken Cipro on several occassions since wls and I did fine on it although I needed to take it for a longer period of time. I am 100 cm bypassed. Amber/FLRN I don't post often I'm 2 years post op with a urinary tract infection and I've been prescribed Cipro 2ce a day for 3 days. In the middle of me taking this prescription, it dawned on me that I neglected to ask the pharmacist if my smaller stomach or 5 feet of bypassed intestine would factor in to how and if this medicine would work or have any adverse affects. Does anyone have any info on this? Thanks in advance for your help. Guest guest
I was 1 yr post-op with a UTI and did the cipro. They did a followup test and I passed with flying colors, so I'm assuming the meds worked, even with the 100cm bypass.
