Guest guest
As I mentioned in the other email Jodi, you will have to tell me who sings it and I shall " download " it, now that I am a downloading star!!! LOL I really love those lyrics. What a great message. Makes you wonder what the person who wrote that song experienced in his/her life! Now that I know how to download I was thinking of going out and getting myself an MP3 player. I would never get an IPOD at those prices! Stupid me, I got Adam to initially download Rasputin and I gave him a blank CD to transfer it to. And he kept saying 'MOM!!!! " (as if I have 5 heads!!) " you can't use a whole CD for ONE song " And I said " I don't care I want this song on CD " . So he got it on there for me. After that he put the music site on my computer upstairs and that's when I started downloading every single song I ever wanted to hear and now they are all STUCK on that computer because I have no more blank CDs. That's where the crazy singing came from, as each song downloaded onto the computer I would listen to it with the headphones and sing away!!! Another great one, besides Rasputin is " Dancing in the Streets " but that's the Mick Jagger/ Bowie version from the first LiveAid concert!! Oh brother! So I thought I would get an MP3 for when the weather gets better and I can start walking again! Deb Jodi Zwain wrote: My kids hate my singing, too. As if they are super stars themselves. Ha! I don't download, though. I have no idea of how to do it and I just use the old fashioned CDs. They think I am crazy and that I should get my own iPod. Yea, right. Not at $300 I won't. They bought their own. Max has all songs from scary movies. He is so into horror flicks. Yuck. I've seen only two movies with him in a year: March of the Penguins and Chronicles of Narnia. Besides the fact that I always fall asleep, our interests are just not the same. Oh, there is one song that is not a horror song: I Hope You Dance. Have you ever listened to the words of that song? It is the BEST for our kids, EVER!!!! I read the words to that song at Max's bar mitzvah. I struggled with the right words to say for my speech to him and that song came on the radio. I looked at Amazon.com, saw the CD came with a book, and bought a copy for Max, which I presented to him, also. There was not a dry eye in the house (or synagogue, I should say).
