--------------

Glucose tablets shouldn't make you dump. Dumping occurs when sucrose

(sugar) hits the small bowel in it's undigested state. The body converts all

food into glucose before it can utilize it -- so glucose is what your body

recognizes as fuel that is ready to go -- it shouldn't cause dumping. I suppose

there are, of course, exceptions to every rule, though!

Glucose tablets are really a better alternative than candy or juice

for rapidly increasing blood sugar. One thing on the " plus " side, I believe, is

that because we don't associate glucose tablets as " food " (like we do candy,

etc.) a person would not find themselves " snacking " on them, like they might

candy, thinking to themselves " Well, I'm just doing this to keep my blood sugar

up. "
