Guest guest
My first daughter had torticollis and moderate/severe plagio. She wore a STARband to correct her plagio and is doing great now. My second daughter is 4 months old. She also has torticollis and plagio. We started physical therapy early and have always done our best to reposition her... I think her plagio would be much worse if we didn't experience tort/plagio with our older daughter. No matter how hard we try, she still sleeps with her head to one side. I have not had her evaluated, but I know she has mild plagio (a little flatness on the back right and a little bulging on the forehead). I know I am over-obsessing because of all the challenges we had with our older daughter. Does anyone know if a helmet would even be prescribed for mild plagio? I am debating on taking her to the pediatric neurosurgeon for an evaluation, but I am not sure they would do anything other than suggest repositioning.
