Hi everyone!

I just wanted to let everyone I made it through the surgery just fine,

and got to come home today (though I wasn't supposed to come until

tomorrow.) I'm feeling huge and numb, but otherwise not too bad.

I'll write more later or tomorrow when I'm more rested.

Thanks for all the well wishes!

Hello, - Congratulations on reaching the other side. Great to

hear that your surgery went smoothly and you got to go home early. Take

care and let us know the particulars of your surgery when you are up to

posting. Take care of yourself. I'm sending warm healing thoughts your

way. ~~ Diane (Idaho)

So glad to here all went well. Did you keep the nurses busy? Did they

ask if you were an only child? HAHA Rest, feel better, and let us know

how everything was soon.

You know, they actually kept *me* busier than I thought...constantly

coming in take the blood pressure and temp (and I had to tell every

new nurse that my mouth was wired and they couldn't take it there,

hehe, so I started just pointing to my armpit everytime).

That, and coming in to check the IV, give me anti-nausea stuff,

anti-inflammatories, anti-biotics. Whew! I'm sure I did wear them out.

I really did get super attention though. Good staff at the hosptial,

which was great since it was my first time ever having surgery or

staying overnight. Made it one less thing to worry about.
