Well for my situation gh was not synthetic ,it was from animals, and also

meant many painful injections for only about 4 " growth, this was over 20 years

ago. My mum asked the paediatrician if he would give it to his child and after

some thought he said no. He said that i only had the ingredients in my dna to

make a 3lb cake and know matter what you did i would always be a 3lb cake. As

my mum is only 5' tall and my dad is about 6' , my brother is over 6', i would

not have been tall anyway. I agree that it is easier for girls to be smaller

than boys in 'society' but i feel that if a child is doing well and eating

enough and is basically just smaller than normal, maybe it is better to leave

them as they are, unique and special. rather than intervene with drugs,

injections, numerous hospital visits and the childd then feels ill and different

because of many diffent treatments rather than just being small. However i do

realise that a parents decision for their own child is a very

personal one and should not majorly be influenced by others, even doctors. I

feel that even though at times i hate being small i am happy being unique and am

well known and accepted in my community as the special woman i am. Feel free to
