Have you had your mechanics checked to make sure your stomas is not stretched? I have a letter from Carol A on my AMOS profile that discusses this. I think what our doctors' say about when and how much to eat at this point should be used a guideline, not ironclad rules, since we are all different. As long as you are eating mostly protein, IMO I wouldn't worry too much about volume. It's too many carbs that we have to worry about. As for me, some days I eat more than others and I don't much worry about it. I eat when I'm hungry and try to eat as much protein as I can. I usually have 4-5 small meals a day. You dont say how tall you are, what weight you started at, or how close to goal you are. Those are things to take into consideration. Guest guest
go girl tell it on the mountain personally when long time vets talk i listen doesnt mean others dont have great brainwaves to share but when someone/something has a track record it is worth considering even if it has to be modified for each of our personal differences janice RE: meals If you don't change your habits, modify your behavior, it doesn't matter how far out you are. Bad habits are bad habits. And I'll get on a soapbox in a heartbeat about this. WLS is just ONE tool. You can't pound nails with a screwdriver. You have to use all the tools available to you. Guest guest
Two eggs and half a cup of cauliflower sounds like a healthy, reasonable meal to me, even at 14 months. I can't overrate muscle building physical activity. Muscle burns more fuel. in Austin Re: meals > > Carnie 's book says she will eat only one > scrambled egg for a meal and that's it.
