Guest guest
Here is an article/podcast from NPR about Microbial Bacteria in the gut, and the sucess of a fecal transplant. http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=129862107 click " listen to the story " I am thankful for stories like these, and it helps my family to understand what I am going through - as the conversation with my Dad, regarding my thoughts of a fecal transplant wasn't nearly as weird, as he had heard this article already, and was the one who just referred me to it. (sad to hear about all the poor little mice they have to test on though.) I have a line of tests and doctor appointments to go through [again] but I am starting to suspect I don't have the right good guy bacteria/microbes to take back over my gut (yes the yogurt helps, but I feel like a lot is also missing), and suspect I may be seeking a fecal transplant eventually. Which seems like the easiet and most affordable option! Will of course keep you all posted! - SCD 4 Months
