Guest guest
I don't know anything about Dr. , but I saw Dr. Persing at Yale, and he was great. I'm not sure where exactly you're located. Just an FYI in case you don't like Dr. and need a second opinion. http://surgery.yale.edu/people/john_persing.profile Good luck! > > Does anyone have any experience in the Boston area with Dr at children's hospital- we are going soon for our first visit there with a specialist, just wondering what to expect. >

He was a really nice Dr. and seemed to know what he was talking about. We had a helmet made, but by the time it was ready (6 weeks) and we went back to pick it up we didn't need it anymore. Her head got better on its own by 45%, so we never used it and her head looks completely fine.
Guest guest
Hi there,We saw Dr at both Waltham, and in Boston. We thought he was wonderful. His approach is pretty laid back which was great for us because we were freaking out. We got our Boston band (exactly a year ago) in Waltham. After getting the helmet we made an appt with Dr for him to look at it to be sure the cut outs were okay. He said you don't normally need to do this, but we had some questions regarding the cutouts. He was available to us whenever we wanted to see him. Also, try to work with at the banding place if going to Waltham. I guess he's suppose to be really good. Although, we didn't luck out and get him. Things went great for us and we were in the Boston band for 9 weeks last summer. Our daughter had torticollis and Dr was very knowledgeable and helped us with that as well. Good Luck, and feel free to email me if you have any questions.Johanna From: stephaniebilliel <SBilliel@...>Plagiocephaly Sent: Tue, May 25, 2010 7:05:19 PMSubject: Re: childrens hospital boston MDs I don't know anything about Dr. , but I saw Dr. Persing at Yale, and he was great.
