Guest guest
, Our routine is very similar to Pats. The one big difference is that we use Polymer instead of 2x2. The biggest advantage is that Polymem is like a foam and so it pulls moisture away from the granulation tissue. Once we started using the polymem we have NEVER had granulation tissue again! We used the Trima. . . cream only when Alyssa had the granulation tissue. We don't do anything to it now! Well it did start to show signs of infection so we got a script for Bactroban and have been applying it three times daily. Over the last day it has started growing granulation tissue at a quick rate. This is new for Colin as we've never had this issue. He is saying that it hurts and I imagine it is pulling on the balloon. He has an appt. scheduled for 2/27 with the GI. Do you think I need to get him in there sooner? Of course this is affecting his eating as well even though it hurts to use the button he still is refusing to eat. Any suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks Colin (RSS, gtube) and Hayden - 5 years Grant - 2 years
