Eileen,Are you taking a selenium supplement? It is needed for good T4 to T3 conversion. Also, have you checked your reverse T3 or do you already know it is high (I ask because of your statement regarding the trouble converting). AmeliaTo: BTVC-SCD Sent: Fri,

thanks - i'm a lil confused - my t3 is compounded, what does synthethic mean???? i also have an ok tsh and t4 - my problem is converting t4 to t3 so i'm guessing i'd be a lot of t3 lil t4?? i see doc sunday to discuss - but i will mention taking separate doses instead of time-release and see what he thinks - why separeate doses for you if it's the time-release cellulose one??

all have been checked and i have to take megadoses of selenium daily but that gets my level up on bloodwork but doesn't help the conversion as i had hoped :-(
