Guest guest
i m 35 yr old male and have my lower jaw forward ,and hence my smile is just not good and i never smile when i need to take a photo or i generally avoid it .My teeth dont match each other ,though i still havn't had any dental problems .i m thinkng of doing a surgery to correct the same. is it advisable ,since it will correct my jaw and my face sructure and the most it will give me self confidence to approach and speak . if someone has done the same ,kindly let me know te healing time and what r the complications which may arise.i have already consulted a surgeon and thinking of doing it.Thogh some people r advising me to go against it ,but personaaly i feel it will boost me in life. i had gone trhu various forums and sites and they say lower jaw surgery is not much a bother as compared to upper jaw surgery, but htere might be some numbness for some time .
