I want to Thank You all for your replies. So many I can't answer them

all.

When I used the word " failed " .. I was thinking I guess that most

people would have read my post where I was starting from day one out

of my wls... I was starting the liquids and going 6 to 8 weeks all

the way up to solids in that time period. I failed to stick to

that... I don't feel I failed in life..lol. I am not afraid of any

words... I am afraid of " extra weight " .

Other than broths.. I don't recall protein in our RNY diet out of BTC

the first two weeks. Just took our vitamins and kept the water and

fluids coming.

I cannot do shakes and juices with protein. I never could drink much

of the juices, milk or shakes. Not even before surgery. There are

times I find it hard to eat even meats. Weird how my body craved

Pepsi, and the junk foods instead. You'd think that would have the

same effects.

I am eating my (grilled) protein every day and eating low carbs. I

have dropped the soda and sugars. No breads, potatoes or rice. I have

dropped 6 pounds of the 20 I had put on.

Thank You Again for ALL your e-mails and posts. Even if I didn't

agree with a few of you.. getting your thoughts and your caring...

helped me so much! Your 2 cents helps everyone!
