Guest guest
Hey Deb, I'm not sure about this, so please check it out before you try it, but I do believe that I heard you could use PolyCose for night hypo-g, instead of cornstarch. and that it was even better for kids under one year of age. Anyone hear this?? True's not much older than that is he?? Pat (g-ma to , RSS, 4yrs 1m old, 28# 10oz, 35 " , G-tube, GHT)
Guest guest
Pat and Deb, My husband works for Ross, which makes polycose. It is mostly used to increase Calories, it is a carbohydrate. It is made from corn starch and some other ingredients. You can see the product info at www.ross.com. We used this with Grace as an infant to add more calories to formula, it mixes very easily. Need Doc. prescription to get it. I hope this helps.
