Hi all,

A little while ago I've been to the doctor for my learning issues. My

doctor thougt it would be time to get the diagnosis RSS and that I can

get help from there.

Last saturday I've had a letter from the AMC (hospital in Amsterdam). I

have to go there for a research. They will search for RSS and ADD!!!

That means I can get two problems at once. April 7th I have to go

there, YES!!!

Also, I'm still doing my own inverstigation on the mental problems of

RSS. At our house we don't have internet until the end of this week,

but after that I promiss I will keep you posted.

Hugs to all of you,

Amy

Amy,

That's great news! Are you excited about seeing Amsterdam? I have been

to the city 2 times and enjoyed it both times. I love to travel and have

been to hundreds of European cities.

Enjoy your trip and I hope you are able to get some answers there.

Take care,

Amy - keep us posted. The Netherlands and other northern European

countries have been at the forefront of doing research into RSS and

SGA patients. Almost all studies have come from those countries.

The US, despite our best efforts, is stymied all the time by the

incredible research restrictions placed on us now. It has long been

the belief by Harbison and Stanhope that ADD and possibly ADHD are

at a slight increased incidence among RSS children. And that it may

be due to untreated nighttime hypoglycemia. I can't wait to see if

this research in Amsterdam shows anything!!!
