Guest guest
I just bought the book yesterday, I have had U.C. for 16 years and I'm looking forward to this new adventure, compared to the pain and suffering and poison drugs I've been through, this should be a walk in the park! I was wondering if and when it is O.K. to juice Vegetables and Fruits? How much, what kinds?I am presently taking LDN and 2000mg of Asacol a day. Things are loose and bloody at the present, so I'm on the diet on page 69. Thanks
Guest guest
Welcome! It is ok to drink your own juiced fruits and veggies from the start. Just remember to always water them down at least 50% with water! (You will come across this in the book if you haven't already). Any " legal " fruit or veggie is fine to juice. But it would be smart to treat each one as new food and introduce them slowly, making sure you don't have any reactions to them. Waiting 3 days before introducing a new one is most common. Let us know what other questions you have! -Joanna SCD 9/2009, Crohn's 1992, 20mg Prednisone > I was wondering if and when it is O.K. to juice Vegetables and Fruits?
