I had surgery in San Francisco and went to the doctor's support group. I now

live in land and have joined a local doctor's support group here. At both

groups, the pre-ops and post-ops have a joint meetingn and then separate

meetings so that our specific concerns can be addressed. Perhaps you can

implement something like that there? Post-op issues need to be discussed with

the doctor.
