Guest guest
When we saw Dr. H last year at the convention, I explained to her that Hannah was absolutely terrified with needles because of all the horrible experiences she had with poor phlembotomists. She recommended that if we were going to use a pen device that we use Norditropen Nordiflex. She stated she preferred the needles but that if we wished to use a pen that she liked the Norditropin " because it has the best titrate " . Hannah has done very well with this device. She can load the needle and dial the number all by herself now and even helps dispose it in the sharps container. This has helped give her a little control over things and the best news is that she has grown a little over 3 inches in the last 4 months! I told our doctor that is what Dr. H recommended and she also was approved immediately for that drug. Good luck and congratulations! Guest guest
, Congrats! Wait until you start seeing Emerence grow, it is so exciting! We use the Genotropin-MiniQuick. It is great, no mixers or extra stuff. Just twist on needle and screw up the bottom and everything mixes together. I am suprised they gave you a pen to start. I thought those were more appropriate for a larger and older child. Maybe you can switch?, Goodluck!
