Cara,

Yes, we will. is doing well. He is 3 1/2 now and will be

starting GH anytime. Actually, it is sitting in my fridge! ;o) He

has not been too sick yet this fall, so I am hoping for the best this

winter. Keeping him out of preschool has made ALL the difference.

He had surgery in August to remove his extra thumb, and is scheduled

for another surgery in January to have his left eyelid lifted. I

dread it more than you know. But, right now we are patching everyday

just because his vision has started to be affected by the lid lag.

So, really, this is our best option. Other than that, I think things

have been about the same since we have talked last.

Cara - Gosh - I remember posting a year ago and talking with you. I'm

glad to hear such great news about . You must be ecstatic!

Congratulations! Nice to hear from you. We've moved since we last

i'm glad to hear that he is doing so well. it sounds like you have had a

buzy year. jacob year has ben great as well the only downfall was when he fell

off the monkeybars at school and broke his upper arm . with it had to be fixed

by surgery with four pins allmost two day in the hospital. but ut healed really

well hugs keep me posted

Wow, cara, that must have been scary. I can't believe he required

surgery. I am really glad it healed well though.

Well, now after writing that was doing so well......he is sick

now! Ugh. I was hoping he was just having some allergy problems,

but I am not sure now. He has this awful barky cough and just didn't

sleep well yesterday. We have been doing the breathing treatments

every four hours, but the cough is pretty bad. I am hoping he will

be able to get over this without an antibiotic. But, we will see.

That cough syrup with Codeine didn't even help him sleep last night!

UGH!. Hopefully tonight will be better.

I am so glad is doing so well. Are you guys going to be able

to come to Convention again this year??? I hope to see you.

well i hope andrew is doing much better. it is time to get a new thing from

our insurance. of course they denied it said he did not have saifichent medical

need for it grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr i hope they can fix that. hmm let see 5in one

year vs. almost no growth. why they are difficalut is beyond me

the plan is to come again this year but we never know until it is closer to

the time

I really hope you will be able to make it again this year, Cara.

This time, we'll have to spend more time talking. ;o)

I hope everything works out with your insurance. They can be such a

pain. Ugh. Luckily, we have a great case worker with our insurance

company who is awesome and always tries to get things covered for

. Doesn't always work, but she works her tail off trying to

get it done! Right now, we are working on in home feeding therapy.

Thinking maybe would do better and we would have all the food

and everything we need. Plus, it is home and he may feel more

comfortable. We shall see how this ends up though. It sure beats

driving an hour one way to therapy though! )
