Guest guest
Would someone be willing to send this to the group?UC-C 12/09SCD 1/10Daily, CLO, Magnesium, bromelain, acidophilus Mom of 2 crazy monkeys :-) I strongly second this. It is amazing. To me, it had the consistency of homemade cornbread but tasted so amazing. Misty Kimble CD - no meds SCD - Jan 2008 > > Ooh! Guest guest
Misty, wouldn't quoting a recipe be like quoting other references where you cite the source? People use recipes on blogs and cite the original source (being web or book) all the time. We would have to get permission from him. Guest guest
From a copyright and digital rights perspecitve they're two very different things. Posting something to a blog is akin to a single publishing event, whereas emailing something to a listserve is like making multiple copies. Copyright law in the digital age is a bit nebulous, frankly so its hard to tell what's allowed and what's not when you put something online. Anyroad, the original request was for something that didn't involve cheese, which the foccacia does, much to my chagrin as I'm having similar tolerance problems as Alyssa and wanted something snacky. fi > > > > Misty, wouldn't quoting a recipe be like quoting other references where you cite the source? Guest guest
The issue isn't copyright - which is no problem in such a case. The issue is courtesy for writers of the SCD cookbooks, since essentially if we post all the recipes, then fewer will buy the books. However, this one you can post, because there is an official link to it on the web already, so no biggie. (The list tradition is only to do this for SCD cookbooks - not other cookbooks.)
