Guest guest
I only know replacement therapy for myself. I'd put protein in its place. You KNOW that. Thanks, Vitalady, Inc. Guest guest
Tara, Have you tried to replace it with veggies? I look at my veggie tray as a treat now. I never used to. I have a few celery with pb, some carrots with dipping sauce with bacon bits in it, a slice of hard cheese, etc. Popcorn for those that are carb sensitive is a bad choice. It is very high up on the glycemic index and could VERY well be what is stopping your weight loss. It would not hurt to have it gone a few weeks from your diet and see if it's that. Good luck in trouble shooting. I have no doubt you'll fix it . Sherra Re: easy > In a message dated 11/27/2003 7:26:40 AM Eastern Standard Time, > brzezinski4@... writes: > Maybe its not the popcorn? Guest guest
Fay, This reminded me of my habits. The foods I notice that protein doesn't work for me on the habit, I just realized I can't buy it . If I eat anything near the texture, I'll want it worse. This is why my mouth waters over the links and cooking recipes you guys provide for foods that I know I abuse. I have to literally just tell myself, nope you can't have. I throw a fit in my mind for about 10 mins then look in the mirror at my healthy self and say....ok I'm fine now lol. Thank goodness protein does work for me 99 percent of the time, stopping the cravings anyway that are made by my insulin going nutso. But it will never stop me from wanting junklike - texture food that I abuse. Sherra Re: easy > Protein drinks are good for many who crave sweets. Guest guest
It's not sugarless, but Freedent doesn't stick to dental work. It's the only kind I can chew.
