Guest guest
I really don't know how much, if any, liver would help, but if you like it, I suppose it couldn't hurt. You definitely do need iron supps, if not an infusion to get you back up until you can start taking supps to maintain. I, too, have been watching my Ferritin level go down, but I was not very good about taking my iron. I was supposed to be taking 2 a day (Niferex 150), but I had been only taking 1. After seeing last years labs, and slow decline (from 36 the previous year to 18), I've upped it to 2 a day (most of the time), and my next labs aren't due until after New Year's, so we shall see. If it has declined, but I'm still above 10, I may just ask my doc to switch over to Chromagen Forte to see if I absorb that better, then demand to be tested again in 3 months. I've been very tired, too. But, I'm menopausal, don't ever really sleep through the night any more, or wake up at 4 or 5, and can't go back to sleep so who knows. But, this does seem to be the #1 deficiency between 2-4 years. in NJ **************************** In a message dated 12/15/2003 10:05:46 PM Eastern Standard Time, brzezinski4@... writes: > - > Yes i have been tired- but i didnt think it had anything to do with my iron > or anything. The reason I say that Im up at 7am and i dont get my butt to bed > till about 2am or so.
