Hi Shirley,

I am sure my June buddies will be right behind me! You know I have

to cheer on all my buddies till the end! Maybe you will be as lucky

as me, because I was told that I had at least another year in the

braces after surgery. I really have to thank my OS for those weekly

nonstop banding appts for 3 months after surgery. This really helped

speed things along. He persistently kept up with different banding

configurations and changed the configurations weekly which really

moved the teeth fast. He helped make my OD job easier. I now see my

OS every 4 weeks and my OD every 3 weeks.

Yes, those triangle configurations are surely a pain. I broke at

least 3 to 4 bands a day when I had to wear the triangles on both

sides. It was really hard because my OS wanted me to keep them in

24/7 even when eating which was surely a challenge especially with

the square configuration along the front teeth.

I do have some concerns tonight because my back molor crowned tooth

is starting to hurt really bad. It started a few hours ago and is

still hurting. My OD changed the bottom wire, but this pain doesn't

feel like pain from the changing of wires. It feels more so like a

root canal issue. This is a tooth I had a root canal on about 3

years ago. So if it keeps up I will more than likely end up back at

the endodontist. I am hopeful that the pain will go away. Always

something isn't it?..(haha)

Anyway, keep me posted on your progress!
