Guest guest
Jodi, I am so glad to see that the appointment went well and that Dr. H. was happy with Max's growth! Man, he will be taller than the 5'6 " ! With all that growing time left! How cool. I am hopeful that Dr. H.'s suggestions work for Max in dealing with the wetting. Gosh, just never ends! Guest guest
Hey, Deb...Guess what? I am allowed to hug Max! That is one thing he will let me do. And I love every minute of it. What really freaks me out is shaking his hand. It is so darn big! It is larger than my husband's, in fact. And strong, too. The frail little boy is no longer. Guest guest
Jodi - that is awesome news. I've been waiting all day to hear this - I'll bet he is just grinning ear to ear. Thank you so much for sharing and keeping us updated. Did she mention anything about his weight? Just curious as I know he was thinking a lot about this. Great news Jodi. Give Max a hug for me. I'm sure he is very proud. - H > > The visit is over. It was a really good one, even if and > Max had to wait for 2.5 hours! Ugh. I hate that part. > > Dr. H. was totally thrilled with Max's growth. Guest guest
, Even though Max weighed in at a whopping 133 pounds (YIKES!), she was not unhappy with it at all. She said that he has so much muscle that it is okay. The only fat on him is in his belly. Part of his stomach is distension from delayed emtpying and eating too fast. Part of it is lack of muscletone. We are going to call the PE teacher and have him work on abs in the weight room now, too. Jodi Z
Guest guest
Jodi Z, I want to give you a huge congrats on your sons growth!!! I just pray Dr. H can do the same, or something- for my daughter. We will just keep our chin up and hope for good news and good results as well. AvaMarie > > The visit is over. Guest guest
Hi Jodi Z, Since your son is able to work out a bit there is an ab machine that works really well. It is called Turbo Trak and Sommers put it out years ago. I wish ita could use it but her hand is still too weak. I have two versions here and her original one is best by far. My own weight is tummy problems, and I had a dream. I wanted to get down to 125 lbs from 165 lbs and that is how I did it. It took a few short months (just to let you know how quick results are). I saw one in the As seen on TV Stores that are in some malls. I am currently overweight and recently began a workout again, and the results are visiable fast (for some reason I do 167 reps at least once per day on it on the firmest resistance). It has 3 bands so you can use the resistance you want, but it actually works the full body with a focus on the abdomen. Could not resist sharing that since he needs toning there!!! Guest guest
AvaMarie, My daughter has that piece of apparatus. I did not think of using it for Max. Thanks for the suggestion. Jodi Z

Guest guest
Jodi, That is great!!!! I'm so happy for you and Max. Poor and Max having to wait so long. When we go on Feb. 24 we have a 12:30 appt. which I'm hoping we don't have to wait so long. By the way, thank you for watching out for on Tuesday. She didn't get her color back until Tuesday around 5:00. I was told this morning that she went to the nurse on Tuesday not feeling well but she wasn't around so Mrs. Mackey told her to try to drink her milk and see how she would feel. Guest guest
Jodi, So glad your visit went well! So did ours! Dr. H. was very happy with Jonah's weight gain and growth! Yeah! She just increased his periactin a bit and his GH.. She was very positive. Sorry to hear they had to wait so long. Our appointment was at 9:45 and we went in around 10:30AM. We were out by 11:30 which is the quickest visit we ever had. I guess everything starts piling up! It is so encouraging to hear about Max, thanks for sharing. , Jonah's mom Update on Max Z > The visit is over. It was a really good one, even if and > Max had to wait for 2.5 hours! Ugh.
