Guest guest
Merry, We've been around and around with this same problem the entire time I've been in the group.( December 2006) I get caught on door knobs, kitchen cabinet knobs, under furniture, you name I've been "hung" by it! There was one company trying to do a take-up reel but it never got finished. They were on the web for a while. They make dog leashes that are take-up reels, they make outdoor hose reels that even self wind!! My husband is a mechanical engineer and he hasn't figured it out either. The stupid 50+ tubing just gets hauled around by me like I'm "cowgirl" roping in the cattle all day long! Most days I make light of it and others .... ..it just serves as a constant reminder that I'm sick! Thankfully those negative days are less often than the positive ones. The only option would be to haul around the portable Helios inside...that just adds 5lbs to my shoulder or waist and it just puffs on demand and that doesn't keep me over 92 when really active which is my comfort level. So, I'm going to be "cowgirl" for the foreseeable future. Z fibriotic NSIP/05 Z 66, fibriotic NSIP/05/PA And “mild” PH/10/07 No, NSIP was not self-inflicted…I never smoked! I havent been online much at all due to weather and computer clazsses at the center using the computers, but I keep you all in my prayers. hugs and blessings Merry
Guest guest
Hi, I do not know if this oxygen tubing really works. It is sure expensive. But basically what I was trying to figure out how we can make it with materials we can find in our hardware stores. I am also tired of falling and my partner stepping on the tubing... Not even counting my new puppy who likes the chew on the tubing.(laughing) Erna Retractable Oxygen Tubing Reel 1992 bird fanciers syndrome, CAD & MI 2004 , ILD 2008 NSIP 2009 Washington State Well, listening to what some need maybe we need to invent a hauler that will automatically follow us around so we dont have to lug them along. The Reel Standard co. is not opened on the week-end I guess There is no info as to cost, what type of O2 it would work with. I'll let you know what I find out.
