Guest guest
- I will be buying a dry-erase board with few different colored pens for the first two weeks post-op communication period. My OMS says that he will confiscate it if he sees that I'm still using it after the first two weeks, as he says he wants me to start talking, and that board will only slow down my progress. ~~~~ Diane (Idaho) > > Should I have paper and pen ready for after surgery? Guest guest
, My OS actually gives all his patients a post-surgery care pack. This includes a dry erase board and marker to communicate with immediately post-op. I used it for about the first 4 days post-op then started to make a concerted effort to talk but when I tired the board was nice to have. Mind you, having long conversations with the board is frustrating. Sara > > > > Should I have paper and pen ready for after surgery?
