Guest guest
I am having my surgery on Dec. 13th and am starting to get really nervous...upper (3 piece) and lower with some rotation...basically the facial profile will be moved back and the whole distance between nose and chin will be a couple mm shorter. Also having chin lipo'd at same time...will be in debt forever. Would love to have a surgery buddy or hear any helpful tips from the vets on this site. P.S. Doctor says no pain...that Advil and Motrin enough...I find this hard to believe...opinions??? > > > > Greetings to All > > > > I have finally been approved for surgery and my date is set for > Dec. > > 12th at 6:30am Lord willing. Guest guest
Everyone I've talked to has said there is not much pain, it's more like muscle tension. At most, maybe a little advil. Or Nasal decongestant...its not the time to need to be a mouth breather if you have sinus probs. I'm off to surgery next week. I'll let you know how it is on the other side > > > > > > Greetings to All > > > > > > I have finally been approved for surgery and my date is set for > > Dec. > > > 12th at 6:30am Lord willing. Guest guest
Hi , Your date is coming up soon, but you have time to read through some posts and I know that would help me with some of the preparations I always tend to do before a surgery. I try to set up my recovery area to make it more comfortable for me. Reading through some of the posts here would be a really good way to get an idea of what other people have done, or would have liked to have prepared for, for their recovery. There is tons of info here! And I know some vets of this surgery will be able to help you too. See you on the board! Good luck with this!
