Guest guest
Pat did you see the other email I sent to your last post to me? I forgot to answer the gtube question. No, he doens't have one...but I don't feel like I can even get anyone to think about it until we have some answers...that don't seem like they are coming. Guest guest
Hey Deb, At 20% weight and 20% height I wouldn't say he needs a g-tube... but the way you described what the dr was saying, I thought he was emaciated or something! LOL My best suggestion is, that if you think he has a growth disorder, or any kind... bring him to the convention in july... you can get a free appt with Dr H... and meet a lot of our fellow list servers!! Guest guest
Deb, I agree with Pat, that if there is any way you can see Dr. H. (either at her office or at the convention) that would be the best. She has many doctor connections all over the country & could probably steer you to a good doctor, no matter what diagnosis True has. Another thought - MAGIC also has a list of doctors. If you are a member, you could contact MAGIC for help. in Alaska RSS-Support wrote: Date: Fri, 10 Feb 2006 20:37:41 -0500 From: " pat " Subject: Re: the endo called...and I wished he didnt... LOL LOL! That's why it didn't make sense...his upper body, there is not much fat but he doesn't look 'skinny' to me. His lower body...he has some thighs now! have you gotten to see his picture in the photo file labeled True? Some poeple will say to me in public 'he's so big for a year " and I am like...yeah right. But then on the elevator at the hospital the other day there was a big ole porky baby...and I asked how old he was and they said 13 months...he had 10 pounds on him I am sure...so I guess its all relative really. He also said that because his height was higher percentage than weight, this was a problem...its like 2 points...not a vast difference. I just don't get it...which is why he got mad at me.
