I am really disappointed to read that chamomile is illegal. Gutted. It's so healing on the CNS and gut lining... is it not? I don't have loose stools... so is it ok for me to consume before bed? I stated my reasoning on the chamomile in the post -- and the relation of chamomile to ragweed mentioned by someone else can be a factor. So often what we think is healing really isn't. What about licorice tea? I don't recommend it. What is your reasoning behind using it? I am having green tea every morning for morning tea, and sometimes I mix it with white tea; is white tea legal? Not black tea with milk, but actual white tea leaves. Higher in antioxidants than green tea, and less caffeine. Tea -- black, green, or white, is all from the same bush / tree. It's legal. Can I put vanilla extract (organic) in my teas? So long as the vanilla extract does not contain illegals. Can I drink an infusion of peppermint, spearmint and lemonbalm tea?? The peppermint and spearmint are fine. — Marilyn New Orleans, Louisiana, USA Undiagnosed IBS since 1976, SCD since 2001 Darn Good SCD Cook No Human Children Shadow & Sunny Longhair Dachshund Babette the Foundling Beagle
