Have you seen a picture of the inject ease?

In a nut shell it's a case, imagine the casing for a ball-point pen and the ink

is removed; you just have the shell--right?

Well once you put the ink cartridge in and press down on the button, you can

write again. Right?

So with the inject ease, it's a standard shell of a contraption.

What we do is put a NEEDLE (syringe) inside this shell casing (it really looks

like a huge pen) and then when we press on the button, it spring loads the

needle downwards and into the skin; then we moms (or the kids) press the plunger

down on the needle to inject the medicine.

So in a nut shell; if the GH that you are getting is to be administered using a

syringe (which means you will remove the required amount of GH from a vial every

night into a syringe) then it makes no difference what GH you are using.

However, if the GH you are getting is being given to you in the PEN format;

where it's already pre-mixed/or it mixes for you---then you don't have syringes

nor would you need the inject ease.

Does that make any sense?

Norditropin & Inject Ease????

Does anyone know whether or not you can use the Inject Ease with

Norditropin? As of right now my current insurance company covers a

few including Norditropin but the insurance company we will be

switching to, Oxford, " prefers " Norditropin and of course I got the

song and dance that it is a drug that needs pre-certification and the

doctor can submit and if there is a problem (sounds like there always

will be) documentation to support why that drug. So in order to avoid

that, I would like to start with one brand and when we switch carry

over BUT . . . I really want to use the Inject Ease.

Deb,

I know about the inject ease because Dr. H gave it to

to take home and play/practice on her stuffed

animals. From what I'm reading about Norditropin they

have the pen. I hope the pen is as nice as the inject

ease. I was relieved when I saw the inject ease.
