Guest guest
I just got a bunch of sweet delicious plums. Not sure what to make with them. Any ideas? Thanks Caroline
Guest guest
C, Can't go wrong lightly cooking them. I recently made a fruit compote. SO yum. Alone or with nut butter or yogurt. Simply cook the fruit-- my -european--family tradition was to chunk up the fruit. Put a few pits in a 'tea egg'-- a container used to make loose leaf tea-- if oyu have one. Can add: sensible amt water cinnamon stick sliced lemon other fruit-- pears go well. I have taken to cooking in a pyrex dish in microwave rather than a pot on stovetop. I tend to do simply fruit--- can do honey if you prefer sweeter. enjoy! Ruth
