Hello-

Isaac's physical therapist asked me if asymmetry associated with RSS

is in the bone or is it extra tissue. Does anyone know the answer to

this question? I don't remember if this has been discussed..maybe it's

both?

Thanks-

Mimi

Mom to: Isaac (RSS, Hypothyroid, MCAD, 23 months)

Sofia almost 3 months

P.S.- I posted a new picture of Isaac with his baby sister (you can

tell he is real happy about it:)

Hi mimi

The asymetry is definitely bone and tissue in fact Liam has one

kidney slightly smaller than the other. Can you see the asymmetry on

Isaacs face or torso.

(Jody mum to Liam 4.5yrs about 2 cm difference in his leg length and

1.5 around his thigh, can also see asymmetry in his chest and not so

much now but his face)

Hi Jodi-

It is only in his leg. Dr. H found it at convention 04..no one else

had even noticed (the pediatrician, endocrinologist, genetics). It's

about 1/4 " shorter (less than 1 cm).

Did Liam have problems learning to walk? DId he wear a lift?

Thanks

Mimi
